Britney Spears debuted her new single today, and it has already sparked some controversy since the subject matter of the song deals with threesomes.
I don’t think these people understand. This is Britney. She is our generation’s Madonna. She does this sort of thing. It’s not new! Don’t you remember Madonna burning crosses and having videos banned from MTV? But we got over it.
As for “3,” Britney’s new song, it’s about the same level of crude fun as her last hit, “If U Seek Amy” (sound it out if you don’t get it). And you can dance to it. So play it in the clubs and stop complaining!
